For everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1
Jackie Wilson was born on November 9, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His loving parents, John and Viola Wilson provided him the nurturing and guidance needed to withstand life's challenges. Jackie the third child of five children was named after the legendary singer, Jackie Wilson. Jackie was introduced to Christ at an early age. He received his formal education in the Milwaukee Public School system, lastly attending West Division High School. Jackie was a member of Salvation Army Church. He was instrumental in having his family participate in the Salvation Army and was proud to be an Honor Junior Solider.
God blessed Jackie to have two beautiful children Qiana and Ronnie.
He was known for his extraordinary personality; he lit up any room that he walked into with his bright smile, great sense of humor, and flamboyant confidence. He was an impeccable dresser, a great artist, loved a good party, and music. Life should be measured not by the number of years, but rather by the love shared, the memories made, the joy given, and the blessings received. The love that emanated from Jackie will be missed by all whose lives he touched. On September 6, 2015 God in His infinite wisdom transitioned Jackie from his earthly home to his eternal home.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his beloved children, Qiana Nuruddin and Ronnie Parker; brothers, John (Ruby) Moore and Jerry (Saron) Wilson; sister, Brenda (Avery) Nettles-McGloster; nieces and nephew, Arlisious, Corretta, Sandra, Sabrina and Christopher. A host of other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Viola Wilson; brother, Frank Wilson.
Visitation will be at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK, THE CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11AM, with a Funeral Service at 12PM. Interment to follow.
