(Nee Schmitz) Passed into Eternal Life on November 19, 2015 at age 78. Sister of Edward (Laura) Schmitz. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ilamay was a lifetime member of the New Berlin Lioness Club. She owned and operated New Berlin Florist and Bud N Bloom floral shops in Mukwonago. She entered the industry at a young age through her father's floral shop, Schmitz Florist, which then lead her to manage a family floral shop in Milwaukee at age 17. She taught floral design at Gateway College and was on the board for the Wisconsin Upper Michigan Floral Association.
Visitation will be at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 3-4:45PM. Funeral Service at 5PM.
