Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the age of 78. He was the youngest of 8 children born to Walter and Hattie. Loving husband and best friend of Jeanette "Neddie" (nee Davies). Dear dad of Tom (Natalie) Laabs, Kathy (Loren) McLane and Mike (Mary) Laabs. Former husband of Betty. Proud grandpa of Nikki (Jeff), Jesse, Brigitte, Sammi, Lexi, Angie, Mike, Jr. (Becky), Chris, Justin, Terry (Nikki) and Mike (Katie). Further survived by great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Harry was a letter carrier for 31 years at Mid City and Juneau stations.

Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday, April 18, 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Service Friday, April 19, at 12 noon, at Redemption Lutheran Church, 5641 North 68th Street, with a Visitation at 11:00 AM until the time of Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated either to Redemption Lutheran Church or to be used for other charities close to Harry's heart. Thank you to the caregivers at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital, Cancer Clinic, Lutheran Home and VITAS Hospice for their compassionate care.
