Harold J. Gee was born on March 27, 1944 to the union of Mary Lee Gee and Louie Gee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Harold received his formal education at St. Francis grade school and Riverside High school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and furthered his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He served in the United States Air Force from March 20, 1962 until October 13, 1965 and was honorably discharged. Harold was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church, and served as an altar boy while attending school at St. Francis. Harold was united in holy matrimony with Annie L. Brown on November 22, 1974 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Their union was blessed with one fabulous child: Kimberlee Joi Gee.
Harold worked in the area of sales, found his niche in the insurance business, and received numerous awards over the course of his career. His insurance path began with Family Life where he won rookie of the year in 1985. He joined Colonial Life and Accident Insurance Company's Sales Force where he became a broker and earned awards for top sales opener 2005, top coordinator sales premium 2005, NRCC Business Advisory Council's Business Man of the Year 2005, ASR of the 4th quarter 2010 and ASR of the 4th quarter 2011. He founded and opened his own business, Harold Gee Agency where he worked until his death.
In his leisure, he enjoyed collecting coins, watching sports and having spirited debates with his daughter about politics. He also loved animals. Harold was a member of several organizations including AIP (the Association for Insurance Professionals) and the American Legion.
Harold departed this life on October 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Hutchins Gee and father, Louie Gee. He leaves to cherish his memory Annie Gee of Milwaukee, wife; daughter, Kimberlee Gee of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; and brothers Carl A. Gee and Murray (Evon) Gee, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also leaves many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
