I'm logann lacey and I'm one of Harold Stark's granddaughter my grandpa was an amazing man he made a lot of people happy. i miss my grandpa so much i wish i had got to see him before he passed. we had a lot of fun at the trailer. i loved his smile when he used to laugh with me. i remember when my grandpa was in the hospital and he could not talk but once i got there and tried to talk to him he talked to me back, not a lot but he talked a little bit. my dad always told me that i made him talk i made him happy, and i will never forget that. even tho i didn't talk to him much i still loved him with all my heart he could always put a smile on my face. i love you papa and have an amazing time up in heaven.

Chuck....you were MY brother-in-law too!! Your brilliant smile could light up a room and I still and will always remember your laugh. Thank you for loving my sister and being a devoted father. It's the family she dreamed of. I was not there to mourn you because I was not told that you passed. May you rest in peace in God's love and grace. I will pray and mourn you privately. My prayers and blessings. Your sister-in-law, Lynn.

Dear Lisa and family. My deepest sympathy for your loss of Chuck. Hoping all your happy memories ease your sadness.
Lisa Starks left a message on December 29, 2020:
Sent by email:Lisa, You have our sympathy on the passing of Chuck and your mom. We know for them it was a transition, a passing from life as we know it to eternal life. Chuck’s example to anyone he met demonstrated his love for his Lord and epitomized the life Jesus wanted us to live. The two of you have a very special Christ-centered relationship that won’t stop because of Chuck’s transition. We are blessed to have you among our friends. We are glad the prayer quilt continued to be meaningful. Congratulations on the birth of your grandson! Thanks for sharing this with us. We will forward your message to the Holy Land crew. Emailed as follows: We are deeply saddened by your loss and extend condolences to you and your family.   Chuck was loved by all of us here for his enthusiasm, energy, and positive attitude.  He liked asking for more and more horsepower just to keep us on our toes! We will miss him with his booming smile and contagious laughter.   Vincent Hausmann – Sales/Purchasing Manager West Bend Dyno Tuning LLC 8450 Trading Post Trail

Chuck, I still think about you and the time we spent in Nam. I was so glad I got to see you again at our unit's reunion in 2010. It had been 42 years since I saw you last when we went to Fort Meade, Md in 1968 after our tour of duty in Nam. You heard me talking and I heard you say, "I know that voice anywhere". We hugged and our wives cried. It was the last time I saw you and Lisa. Things happened that prevented us for seeing each other at the other reunions. I will miss you. I remember telling your son the story of you risking your life to see if I was OK during a mortar attack. That's why we were brothers not just friends. Save a place in Heaven for me. I hope God will let us see each again.

I am sending prayers of love and comfort to Lisa and family. My best memory of Chuck, was at Bella’s birth. He was so relaxed, and easy-going. It was surprising for being in the grandpa role at the Birth to see him so happy and chill. Grateful he got to hear Jessica’s newborn as he was passing. What a blessing.
