Began her journey home on Thursday, December 19, 2019. Age 18.
Cherished and beloved daughter of Christine Altenburg. Reunited with her treasured father, Mark Altenburg, who preceded her in death [January 12th 2016]. Precious sister of Justin (Angie) Phillips and Ashley (Daigham) Bowers. Loving and adored auntie to Jackson, Zariah, Addison, Aubree, and Ashara. Further survived and loved dearly by her aunts, Stacey (David) Vecellio and Laura (Michael) Sprague, other relatives, and a devoted group of friends.
Hanna was a talented artist, caring pet lover, and creative inventor who could transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. Equally skilled in analytical thinking she excelled in math and sciences within her STEM programming. She warmed hearts with her beautiful smile and infectious laughter. Her beauty, style, love for fashion and keen eye and love for photography led her to pursue modeling and capture beauty in the moment. Her varied interests led her to start to explore a career in law or psychology. Hanna’s sweet and sensitive soul which was empathetic, thoughtful, and compassionate, always cared for others and led her to support and love her friends in times of need. For our family, she stole our hearts and will carry on within them, in the sunrise – forever and always – we love you.
“Shield me, and show me …when I need a friend.”
