So glad I got to know Hanna as a young teen, such a beautiful, deep, soulful young woman. And so intelligent. I thoroughly enjoyed many conversations with her. I wish I could have done more to help her through her pain. She will forever be in my heart for the beautiful soul she is.

Christine, "Even those who never fully blossom bring beauty to the world"....this quote struck me as fitting as it relates to Hanna and your loss. I only met her once when she was with you at a Packer game "meet up". But, the lovely obituary and your "posts" about her speak very well to the beauty that she brought to the world. She was indeed strikingly beautiful in the physical sense, but it seems those who knew her well were able to see the beauty she had on the "inside". My sincere condolences to you and all her family and friends.
Jim Marshall left a message on January 5, 2020:
Christine, this has been a wake up call for me and hopefully for others. I have a 17 year old son who last year decided school didn’t matter and stopped looking after himself. His Mom and I (divorced) have to get after him for everything but I have been worried about something worse for some time. Your tragedy and the story you posted about the signs of suicide have really cemented my worry. I have been sending him encouraging notes daily about his self worth and how he might pray and of course I pray for him often. When he is with me I try hard to show him my concerns in a loving and supportive way and sometimes have to be more firm. There is one thing he does that provides me some hope - when he leaves for school, work or his Mom’s he always stands there waiting for me to hug him - he will not initiate the hug - but he wants one and I am only too happy to oblige. In my work we provide life from death through organ donation - it is both heart wrenching and gratifying at the same time. Having lost a son already to drug overdose I truly know your pain and want you to know that your daughter will be an inspiration to other parents, through your notes and grief sharing, to be closer to their children and watch them for the warning signs. Please take some comfort in this. Take care of yourself and be gentle with you as you go through the grieving process.
Jennifer Wojak left a message on January 5, 2020:
I had the great pleasure of caring for Hannah in her preschool days and have great memories of her and my son playing together, going to the GE Christmas party and many other birthdays and fun events. My heart is broke and hope she found the peace she needed. Christine, we will keep you in our prayers and hope you can find some peace also.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Nanine Jeanquart left a message on January 5, 2020:
Dearest Hanna I know your from what your beloved mother has told me about you. I so wish I could have been in your presence just once. You are so very much missed here, if you are anything like your mom which I am sure you are, the world is less one purely empathic soul. Your journey was short this time, you and your mother will be together again and dance this thing we call life working through the evolution of the soul to enlightenment on this planet. We only have each other, What have we learned from you? Sending support and Love to the family of Hanna and Christine
Liz Plotkin left a message on January 4, 2020:
Hanna I watched you grow up and will miss seeing you...but my memories of you playing with my Haley and the pics I have make me smile. Christine and family, you are all in my prayers for ease in this transition. Hanna will always be in and around you.
