Also loved by many other friends and relatives worldwide.Gunther was born in Vienna, Austria. Upon graduation from UWMadison,he spent several years in the Army. He was a member ofthe National Guard and 32nd Division. Gunther was a counselor inthe Milwaukee Public School System at Juneau High and EdisonJunior High. Upon retirement at age 70, he volunteered at the Southeast Area of Aging, the TaxiService for New Berlin, and the Housing Commission of Waukesha.He was a member of several professional organizations, the Milwaukee Stamp Club, and the German Stamp Club. He enjoyedtraveling around the world, archeology, art, pottery, reading and theater.
