Guillermo Q. Castro “Bill”

passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27th, 2015, at the age of 85. Was married to Iris and was the proud father to Patricia (Peter), George (Nancy), Christina, and Alex (Kris). Loving Grandfather of Nicole, Rebecca, Taylor, Taite, Catalina, and Colin. Brother of Albert, Magdalena, Laura, the late Julio, the late Raúl, the late Lautaro, the late Sara, the late Elena, and the late Sabina. Son of the late Quintín and Laura (nee Fortunatti). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 from 1pm to 2:45pm at ST. MATTHIAS PARISH, 9306 W. Beloit Rd.. Mass of Christian Burial to follow, at 3pm. Private entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Bill emigrated from Chile to the United States in 1952 with a scholarship for an engineering training course at Allis-Chalmers. Later on, he worked as an engineer with, and retired from Harnischfeger. Bill was an avid Packers and Brewers fan, and cheered on international soccer matches. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Matthias Parish.
