Gloria Welhelmina Christon (Hart) was born on December 14, 1936 in Colon, Panama. She made her way to the United States on December 1, 1957. After living in New York, and then Chicago, she fell in love and was married to Robert Christon, Jr. on January 10, 1960 and remained a loving wife for 61 years. They welcomed their only son on September 27, 1961. Surviving are her husband Robert Christon, Jr., grandchildren, Keith Jr., Stephanie, Sarah and Sierra. Special Grandmother to Victoria. Great grandmother to Izaya, Hunter, Brooklyn, Camron, and Amaya. Sister of Jaqueline, Lydia, Sandra, Felicia, and Wilfred. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Eugenia Joyce Mieres, and Samuel Hart, Sister Alma and brother Horacio, son Keith and grandson Alexander. Gloria was a loving wife, cherished mother, beloved grandmother and loved by brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Gloria was best known by her family and friends as a very giving person who always had a smile on her face and her infectious laugh is unforgettable. She was faithful to her faith as part of the Mequon Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and dedicated her life to Jehovah on November 18, 1961. Throughout her life she loved being in the ministry. She became a full-time pioneer in the preaching work on September 1, 2014. She has been able to help others learn the truth, and valued the brothers and sisters in various congregations. Gloria was loved by many people and will be dearly missed by family and friends. Gloria left us on February 1, 2021 WE ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU
