January 11, 1931 - April 17, 2020

Gloria Halstenrud (Warren), age 89, formerly of Elgin, IL died peacefully on April 17, 2020. Loving wife of Robert Halstenrud and devoted mother of Linda (Jay) Shaffer and Reid (Julie) Halstenrud. Proud grandmother of Erica and Jack Shaffer. Daughter of Dale and Violet Warren. Sister of Ron (Ermadean) Warren, Gary (Cathy) Warren, Dale (Angie) Warren, and Delores Warren. A private memorial service is planned at Roselawn Memory Garden Cemetery in Lake Geneva, WI. A special thank you to the staff at Avalon Square Presbyterian Homes and Angels Grace Hospice for all the loving care you provided for Gloria. Gloria graduated from Elgin High School in 1950. She volunteered at her church, helped with school lunch programs, and loved to make crafts and bake.
