Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the age of 88. Born May 21, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI to Orin and Irma Egelseer (nee Harnack). Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the age of 88. Born May 21, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI to Orin and Irma Egelseer (nee Harnack). He is survived by his sons, Kyle and Kim (Susan) Egelseer. He was predeceased by his brother Lee, his father and mother, and his wife Leatrice (nee Carden).
After high school graduation in 1943 he enlisted in the Army Air Corps and was selected for pilot training. He completed Primary Flight School and was also trained as a B-29 Flight Engineer. After receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1945 he attended UW-Madison. In 1952 he married Leatrice Carden. Glenn was an industrial Sales Representative for the N. L. Kuehn Company throughout his entire career.
Glenn was an aviation history enthusiast and also enjoyed many wonderful vacations in Northern Wisconsin and Door County with family and friends. He was a committed, loyal husband and father. Glenn will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and loving spirit.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield from 2:00-5:00 PM in the main building.
