Entered into Eternal Life on September 28, 2019, at age 65. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Piepenbrink) for 44 years. Loving father of Christa (Wesley) Kokott, Joseph (Jimena), Bryan, and the late Nathan Picchottino. Cherished grandpa of granddaughter Tahlia and grandson Drew Kokott. Dear son of Wilfred and Elsbeth Picchiottino. Loved and admired brother of Beth (George) Fejes, Jeff (Nancy), Mark, Kim (Sandy), and Pam Fields. He is further survived by his aunt Gloria Picchiottino and uncle Allen Picchiottino. Dear son-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Rev. Willis Piepenbrink. Loved brother-in-law of Eloise (Carl) Schwarz, Arthur (Anne) Piepenbrink, Christine (Steve) Azzarello, Linda Piepenbrink, Esther (Jim) Johnson, and Mary (Mark) Fisher. He was also loved and will be missed by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Glenn and Ruth were good friends while attending Milwaukee Lutheran High School. They celebrated 44 years married this past June. She loved and respected his attentiveness, caring spirit, and sense of humor. She will greatly miss his leadership in the home; his direction for their future goals, and his constant love and protection.
Glenn and Ruth had 4 children. Their firstborn, Nathan, is buried in Rapid City, SD. His daughter, Christa, and sons, Joseph and Bryan, are heartbroken to have lost their father who was always available to provide support and encouragement. His example of self-discipline, his resourcefulness and his attention to detail were greatly respected. His mechanical skills and intelligence for problem solving were invaluable. There is a loss that is felt very deeply in each of their hearts.
Tahlia and Drew will always cherish the special relationship they had with their “Grandpa Glenn”. He was gentle, fun, and always wanting to spend time with each of them. They will forever hold on to the memory of his unfailing love and attention.
