I only have a vague recollection of him from when I was a copper, but I had the honor and pleasure of meeting him when we were both volunteers at the Milwaukee V.A. Hospital driving veterans to and from their appointments for the D.A.V. section there. That was when I first learned of his service in the Korean War with the Marines. We worked with a lot of guys on MPD like him who were veterans during those years and were so very humble that many, if not most, of us never knew of their honorable service until reading their obituaries or, as in my case, actually meeting them after retirement. Salute sir! I'm happy to have met you and glad you enjoyed a long life and hopefully a healthy one. My condolences to family and friends.

Glenn gave so much to so many, as a devoted family man, a patriotic veteran Marine, a dedicated public servant, a Christian, a dear friend, and a principled human being. He will be long remembered and keenly missed by the many who loved him. May God comfort all who grieve his loss.
