I will greatly miss my Grandpa. The stories he used to tell me while sitting inside his patio. My favorite stories were about when he would be camping with Grandma and his boys and the timberwolves who came to their campsite. Also the stories he told about his time driving for Roundy's. Whenever i would call him, and ask how he was doing he would say... "Just trying to keep the rubber side down and stay between the ditches!!" When Blake and I were kids, he made us a go-cart that we would ride in his neighborhood, too. No one could ever take his place in my heart, and I miss him so very much.

I knew him as dad and grandpa. He was always a joy to be around. When I think of him, I smile, always finding a way to make you laugh. He told me one time he was going to write a book entitled, “Life through a Dirty Windshield.” I don’t know if he ever wrote that book, if he did I would like to read it.
Thank you for always making me feel like part of the family. Love and miss you always.
