Died unexpectedly Sunday, December 21, 2014, age 81. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Tareilus). Loving father of Theresia Kortsch, John (Mary), Paul (Angela) and James (Margaret) Kharouf. Kind grandfather of Janell, Matthew, Jacqueline, John, Ashley, Erin, George, Noah and Evangeline. Brother of Issa (Barbara) Kharouf, Mary Tubbeh, Nadia (Sam) Zanayed, Betty (Charles) Khoury and Hala Duffy. Also loved by great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, Friday, December 26, 5:00-7:00 PM. Visitation at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9306 West Beloit Road, Saturday, December 27, 10:00-10:45 AM. Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

He retired from Chrysler Corporation after 37 years of service, was a member of United Auto Workers Retirees Local 75, and Knights of Columbus #3095. He was very active at his church serving many years as an usher and on the counting team.
