Gary H. Olsen

Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at his home in Butler. Husband of Sandra "Sandy" Olsen. Beloved father of Deanne Olsen and Linda (Tim) Graff. Loving grandfather of Mason Ferrari. Brother of Keith Olsen, Karen (Darrell) Awe, Michael Olsen and Gail Olsen. Former husband of Darlene Olsen. Further survived by other relatives and friends.Gathering in the funeral home on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from noon to 1:45 PM. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.Gary was born in Milwaukee on August 28, 1941, a son of the late Arthur and Ruth (nee Brandt) Olsen. He attended local schools and was a lifetime resident of the area. Following his graduation is 1959, Gary began his apprenticeship at Kearney & Trecker Corp. masterfully building and rebuilding all things mechanical. He went onto work as a machinist for Miller Brewing Company in 1979 retiring after 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, sporting clays and skeet shooting. He will be profoundly missed.
