Loving father of Asdis "Asa" Skulason and Snorri "John" (Sandra) Skulason. Grandfather of Michael. Brother of Malmfridur, Hrafnhildur and Julius. Jon was born in Iceland on January 11, 1937, a son of the late Skuli Juliusson and Bjorg Sigurdardottir. He attended local schools, and went on to attend the University of Iceland Medical School. After serving as a physician for a short time in Iceland, Jon relocated his family to Minnesota where he interned at the University of Minnesota. During his career, Jon was an accomplished doctor, having received numerous certifications and serving in many capacities in his field. Following his retirement, Jon pursued his love of water sports by sailing and swimming. He was a world traveler having visited much of the US and Europe. He enjoyed reading; however his greatest love was for his family. At Jon's request, there will be no services.
