Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at age 62 of ALS. Beloved and cherished husband of Kathleen (Nee Niebuhr) for 44 years. Devoted and loving father of Christine (Bill) Wheeler, Melissa (Mark) Vukovich and Fred, Jr. Proud grandpa of Jordan, Alex and Joseph Wheeler, Kira and Maddie Vukovich. Loving son of Flora and the late Ken Radmer. Cherished brother of Linda (LeRoy) Faust, John Radmer, Debra (Gary) Willis, Jean (Ed) Leintz and Mary Radmer. Also loved by many other relatives and caring friends.Fred was an exceptionally bright man who was passionate about history and politics. He believed strongly that everyone should exercise their right to vote. He was both a political and civil rights activist and believed each individual could served as a catalyst for change. Amongst his many interests he enjoyed listening to classical music, duck hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. His greatest legacy will be in the profound love for his children and good will to his fellow man.Visitation at the Funeral Home Sunday, September 23, 4:00-6:45 PM. Funeral Service 7:00 PM. Burial Highland Memorial Park Monday at 11:00 AM. Meet at the Funeral Home by 10:30 AM for procession to cemetery.Fred was a former Milwaukee Bombers and Golden Gloves Champion.
