Flip will be sadly missed by many friends and colleagues she met during her long professional career, including her business partner Marie O'Brien, and the team at Enterforce, Inc. Flip was one of the first women to serve as a Director at Harley – Davidson, and during her tenure of 42 years, working in a variety of Corporate and Manufacturing Human Resources roles including Labor Management Relations, where she was instrumental in helping the executive team lead and transform the business for growth during the 1990s. After she retired 15 years ago, Flip continued her passion for mentoring business people, especially women. Upon graduation from Alverno in 1992, Flip became one of its staunchest advocates, particularly when it came to supporting students. She was an active member of the Alumnae Association Board for many years, and she left an amazing legacy for students with the creation of "Bella Way" which helped Alverno establish a student service main street on campus.
As an active member of the Woman's Club of Wisconsin, she was serving a second term as President and leading a transformation to position the Club as a valued experience and important asset to the city committed to making lives better for all people. Her insight and guidance will be missed. Flip brought passion and commitment to all her endeavors; her focus was singularly about accomplishing the objective. She was humble, and shunned recognition working to improve the lives of individuals, families and organizations. She led with her heart, and will always be an inspiration.
Flip is an Honors Graduate of Alverno College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. Her most recent business/community involvement included, Partner and Member of the Board of Directors for the Woman's Club of Wisconsin, Chair of IMPACT, Inc., and Co-Chair of the President's Council for IMPACT, where she lead the strategic revitalization of the organization. Program Facilitator and Steering Committee Member for College Endowment Association. Past Business and Community involvement included, State President of the Wisconsin Federation of Business and Professional Women, Board of Directors for the National Federation of Business and Professional Women, Secretary of the Board of Milwaukee Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (MCADD), Vice President of the Board for Volunteer Services for the Visually Handicapped (VSVH), Secretary of the Alverno College Alumnae Association (1995-1997), Co-Chair of the Alumnae Philanthropy Task Force, Vanguard Society, Heritage Society and Benefactors Circle at Alverno College, 2010 Alverno College Bene Award recipient, Advisory Committee for the Masters in Labor and Industrial Relations Program at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Wisconsin Governor's Task Force on Comparable Worth, Board for Wellness Council of Southeastern Wisconsin, Business Advisory Council for Goodwill Industries, Mentor for the Waukesha YWCA's Team Leadership Council.
