Eugene William Rasch

Entered eternal life at age 83 on Saturday, October 2, 2010. He was born May 26, 1927 in Greeley, Nebraska to Waldemar and Florence (ne McBeth) Rasch. He grew up in Milwaukee, attended the University of Wisconsin " Madison and the Layton School of Art, and practiced architecture in Waukesha for 45 years. A member of Christ the Life Lutheran Church, Gene served on the board of elders and sang in the choir.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, "Peggy" Ruth Rasch, and daughters Laurie (Gary Anoszko) Rasch of Dousman, Lisa Peterson of Menomonee Falls and Leslie (Mark) Hiller of St. Germain, WI. He was the proud grandfather of Eli and Heidi Anoszko; Leslie, Marita and Ian Peterson; and Nick and Katie Hiller. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Juanita Krause, Robert, Donald and Charles Rasch.Visitation will be Thursday, October 7 at Christ Life Lutheran Church, 3031 Summit Ave., Waukesha at 4 PM until time of service at 6 PM. Burial will be Friday, October 8 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ the Life Lutheran Church or the Humane Animal Welfare Society, 701 Northview Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188, would be appreciated
