Found peace on November 5, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Sigmund. The much loved mother of Amy (Jose) Rivera, Tom Warda and Ellen (Dan) McCabe. The adored "Nonny" of Joy (Ricardo), Kimberly, Michael, Alex, the late Weston, Jack and Kate. Dear sister of the late Eleanor Borowski, the late Eugene Furtak and Irene Sadowski. Further survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Esther lived her life with dignity, courage and strength. Her creativity and eye for all things beautiful was exceptional. Her family meant everything to her. She was most proud of her grandchildren and made them the center of her life. They will be her legacy. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Southpointe Rehabilitation Center, especially Tina, Brandi, Janelle and Kathi; the staff of Hickory Park Assisted Living and the staff at Zilber Family Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Spinal Cord Injury Foundation or the American Heart Association in her name.
