Passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at the age of 92 years. Beloved father of Glenn Goelz, Susan Goelz and Jeffery Goelz. Proud grandfather of Christopher Goelz. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Erv was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bernice and a sister, Irene Kern. He was also preceded in death by his dear companion Carol Dietert.Erv was a longtime employee of Johnson Controls, proudly retiring after 43 years.Visitation at ST. MARGARET MARY PARISH, 3930 North 92nd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222, on Monday, December 5, 2011 10:00 AM-Noon. Mass of Christian burial to follow at Noon. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.The family wishes to thank the staff of Clement Manor for their care over the last 9 months.
