Ernie Rickard was my older brother by 14 years. I made it my life’s mission to have a relationship with him, because when he got married I was 9, I hardly knew him but swore I would . This brother of mine was always on my side, no matter what and for that I will always cherish our relationship. I pray God is holding you in his arms❤️
Joe Hipp left a message on March 18, 2025:
Ernie was one of the first people I met when I came to Wisconsin back in 1998. We immediately became friends. He was one of the nicest, most genuine human beings I’ve ever met. I always looked forward to seeing him at his barbershop as I always left in a good mood no matter the circumstances going in. My deepest sympathies for his entire family, who I am grateful to say are more like family to me than just friends. I know he’s watching over all of you until you’re joined again. Rest in peace my friend. I love and miss you.
