Ernest G. Johannes “Ernie”

Born to Eternal Life Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the age of 93. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Florence and sister, Alice Onisch. He is survived by brothers Daniel (the late Dorothy) and Cyrus (Shirley) Johannes. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ernie proudly served in the 95th infantry in WWII. He was a member of the George Washington Masonic Lodge and Swanson-Williams VFW Post, and retired from the IRS as an agent after 25 years of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Visitation at ABIDING SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5214 West Luebbe Lane, Brown Deer, on Sunday, May 22, 3:00-5:00 PM, with a Funeral Service at 5:00 PM. Internment Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, on Monday, May 23, at 12 noon. Please meet in the red area.
