Elwood E. Hartwig

Passed away peacefully Thursday, January 15, 2009, at the age of 91. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ruth (nee Budde). Proud dad of Diane (Paul) Schmidt and Jim (Rhonda) Hartwig. Special grandpa of Greg (Amy) Hartwig and Jeff Hartwig, and great-grandpa of Gabriella and Olivia. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. Elwood was employed as a tool and die maker at Allis Chalmers for 42 years. Visitation Sunday, January 18, 2009, 12:30-2:00PM, at LUTHER MANOR FAITH AND EDUCATION BUILDING, 4545 North 92nd Street, Wauwatosa (please use north entrance). Funeral Service 2:00PM. Private entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Gethsemane Ev. Lutheran Church, 13200 West Greenfield Avenue, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
