Eleanor Marie Kemp, age 83, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2020 due to COPD. She was born July 30, 1936 in White Lake, Wisconsin to Maurice and Marion Sellers. In June of 1956, she married fellow White Lake High School graduate, Jesse Earl Kemp from Lily, Wisconsin who preceded her in death in 2013.
Eleanor is a long time resident of Milwaukee, moving there in 1956. Jessie and Eleanor moved to their cute little house on South 80th Street in 1965. She loved decorating her home, baking, gardening and babysitting her grandchildren. She enjoyed camping at Devil’s Lake State Park as well as national parks out west.
Eleanor is survived by two sisters and their husbands, Virginia and Eddie Huettner and Mary and Clifford Atkins; a brother and his wife, Edward and Karen Sellers; her son, Jeffrey Kemp; two daughters and their husbands, Belinda and Phillip Grigg and Suzanne and Ralph Primus; son-in-law Brian Cieslak; grandchildren, Corey Grigg, Kenyon Grigg, David Primus, Holly Primus, Amy Burmester and Morgan Cieslak; plus four great grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to her husband, Eleanor is predeceased by her parents, five brothers, two sisters and a daughter, Wanda Cieslak.
