Elaine M. Johnson

(nee Beauchamp) Passed away peacefully in her husband arms, Thursday December 18, 2008 age 83. Beloved wife of Robert. Mother of Dennis (Lynne) and Steven (Monica Chaput). Grandmother of Jeramie (Julie) Johnson and Julie (William) Zigman. Sister of Gladys Klien, Joyce Asti, Olive Bowman, Leo, Gerald, Clayton, Harvey and the late Ervin Beauchamp. Also, survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Monday December 22, 11:30 AM- 1:15PM. Funeral service at 1:30 PM. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. From her bed, Elaine made her way to the chair and found a seat on her husbands lap. They gave each other a gentle hug. The nurse mentioned "She's Gone"… A very beautiful moment filled with love. Elaine belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary as recording secretary, also volunteered at the Veterans' Administration and at the Performing Arts Center. Elaine is loved by all who knew her. She has touched so many lives and will be missed by her many friends.
