Born December 8, 1947 entered eternal light on October 26, 2015.
Loved dearly and survived by wife, Holly Hamilton, children Rachel (Michael) Hannah, Zach Rapport (Robyn Frank) and Christopher Rapport (Michelle Fowler). Proud Umpa of Kalel Hannah. Also survived by father in-law Thomas Hamilton, sister-in-law Jill (Robert) George, nephew Hamilton George and niece Morgan Luprek and their families and other relatives and friends.
A native of Milwaukee, Ed earned his degree at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and had a career in media advertising. He had varied interests and eclectic tastes in music and art. He was an avid fan of football, basketball, baseball and auto racing. He had a quick wit, wry sense of humor and an inquiring mind. He treasured his family.
Ed fought valiantly against Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis as it ravaged his body, but not his spirit or soul. To the very end of life Ed refused to think of himself as sick. The family thanks Dr. Bruce Rowe of Columbia St. Mary's/Alexian Village and the Froedtert Hospital PM&R Pump Clinic team and the many others who treated and cared for Ed in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and at home.
A gathering will be on Monday, November 2, from 2-3:15 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee. Chapel Memorial Service will be at 3:30PM.
If desired, memorials appreciated to Marquette University, College of Nursing.
