Born to Eternal Life on October 31, 2015. Age 95. Cherished husband of the late Arlyn (Nee Scheets) for 71 years. Father of Tom (Beth) Hoffmann and Jayne (Louis) Costa. Grandfather of Dan (Kathy) Hoffmann and Deb Porter. Great grandfather of Eli, Ava, Adelyn, Jacob and Colton. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his brother Fred Hoffmann.

Edward served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WWII and also in the USAF during the Korean Conflict. He was an active member in VFW Post 5158 and Legion Post 219. He was a mechanical engineer for Rexnord for 30+ years.

Visitation at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 1600 Genesee Street, Delafield, Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 10-11AM. Funeral service to begin at 11AM. Burial at Forest Home Cemetery on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Christ the King Lutheran Church, Delafield; Shorehaven, Vitas Hospice, or a charity of one's choice.
