Edward A. Peters

Passed away peacefully after a gallant battle with melanoma cancer on September 15, 2012, at age 64. Beloved husband of Sandy (nee Wolfgram) for 36 years. Loving father of John (Jen) Zimpel, Lynn, Paul and Jenny Peters. Dearest grandpa of Brianna and J.J. Cherished brother of John (Julie) and Ron (Chris) Peters. Treasured brother-in-law of Karen Watson and Susan LeFever. Preceded in death by his parents Ed and Gert Peters, and mother-in-law Eleanor Wolfgram. Further survived by other family and friends.Ed proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1968. He was a dedicated employee of Harnischfeger for 46 years and recently was retired for 2 weeks. Ed loved softball, golf, hunting, and fishing at Northland Lodge at his beloved Lake Winnie in Minnesota.The family would like to thank Chris, our visiting nurse, and the Zilber Hospice for the comfort and support they gave us; and his family at Harnischfeger, friends, neighbors, and all our family for their love and comfort.Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 22, at 11:00 AM – 1:45 PM. Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.Ed will be forever in our hearts.
