Ed was born in Iloio City, Phillippines and was proud of his ethnicity. He was a member of the Phillippines Rangers in ROTC. Ed graduated Cum Laude from the University Santo Tomas Medical School in Manila. He was a caring psychiatrist to his patients for 40 years. Ed was a devoted student of the Martial Art Taekwondo and a 5th Degree Black Belt. He was a passionate gardener, spending hours beyond daylight working in the yard. He was a lover of all God’s creations. He was an avid lover of music and movies. Ed was a kind, caring and generous man who was always willing to help those in need.
We are “forever indebted” to Elmbrook Oncology staff and Seasons Hospice staff for the tender care they provided for Ed and us. We give thanks to God for surrounding us with a strong, comforting support system of family and friends. And to Father Chuck Hanel, who prayed with us and gave us guidance throughout this long journey, we give prayerful gratitude.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Queen of Apostles Catholic Church are appreciated.
