Visitation at ST. AGNES CATHOLIC CHURCH 12801 W. FAIRMOUNT AVE. BUTLER, WI on Friday, July 10 from 9:30 until time of Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery Waukesha, WI. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Gift of Life, National Kidney Foundation of WI or St. Agnes Parish.
Jim attended Marquette University pre-med undergraduate and Medical School graduating in 1947. He completed his 1 year internship and three year residency at Milwaukee County Institution. While at Marquette University, he held all offices of the Union Board. During pre-med, he served in the Navy ROTC. He switched to the U.S. Army and served as a physician during the Korean War stationed in Okinawa. He was a physician in Milwaukee, WI for most of his 47 years of practice which included St. Michael, Deaconess, Elmbrook, St. Joseph and Oconomowoc Hospitals. During the 1960's, Jim helped establish Kidney Dialysis in WI and upper MI.
Jim was a retired member of AMA, WMS, National Kidney Foundation, Gift of Life, Kiwanis of Wauwatosa, Catholic Knights, Holy Name Society, Hampton Heights Advancement Assoc., past president of St. Agnes Home & School and Divine Savior Parent Org. He continued as an active member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Butler, WI.
