Douglas Michael Dolge, 74, of Dousman, WI, died April 24th at Aurora Medical Center Summit of complications from his autoimmune disorder.
Doug was born October 6th, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI to Betty Lou (Rich) Dolge and Walter Elmer Dolge. He was raised in North Platte, Nebraska.
On June 7th, 1968, he married Carol Jean Smith and they were happily married for 55 years. Their daughters, Missi and Jennifer, were born in Wisconsin. His career took him and his wife from one end of the country to the other finding companies and positions that challenged and rewarded him. In later life, he enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and brother and sister-in-law Tom and Jean. He was also planning trips with other family members.
Survivors include his wife, Carol, originally of Overton, NE, daughter Jennifer Dolge, two granddaughters, Krysta Parson and her fiancé Kevin Granberg and Kate Parson and her significant other Joshua Deegan, three sisters, Monta Dolge Storm, Annie (Dick) Bahde, and Kelley Falkena, two brothers-in-law, Dick (Sandy) Smith and Tom (Jean) Smith. He also had numerous beloved nieces and nephews and their children as well as cousins who he considered both family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Missi (Joel) Parson, his parents, his brother Bill (Debra) Dolge and his brother and sister-in-law Ron and Eileen Smith.
Visitation will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park- Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM. Burial to follow.
