Passed away March 16, 2016. Age 87. Devoted husband of Ann (nee Reitz) for over 60 years. Dear dad of Mike (Sue), Dan, Jane (Jaime) Suro, Patty (Jerry) McQuillen. Proud grandpa of 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

Gathering at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 1121 South 116th Street, West Allis, Monday, March 21, 3:00-4:30 PM. Memorial Service 4:30 PM.

After graduating from Paoli High School in Indiana, Gene graduated from Indiana University. Gene was in the Army when he met Ann. They married in May of 1951. Four children followed: Mike, Dan, Jane & Patty. He worked for IBM for 33 years, retiring in 1987. Photography, stained glass & Civil War history were his favorite interests. Gene & Ann have seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was a wonderful husband & family man. He is already missed.
