DOLORES MARIE WASHINGTON “Doe Doe”

Entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, age 94. She was born on October 7, 1927 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to the proud parents to Frederick Bosseau Sr. and Marion Carufel.

Prior to meeting her lifelong partner, she was blessed with her first-born child, son, Michael Crawford. She later met Theodore (Teddy) Washington and was united in Holy Matrimony and to that union was born their 4 daughters Stephanie Gay, Victoria Grace, Suzanne Marie and Kimberly Jeanette. They celebrate almost 50 years of Marriage.

She leaves to cherish her memories… daughters Stephanie Washington, Suzanne (Mike) Washington Jones, Son Michael Crawford, brothers Frederick Bosseau Jr., Andre Bosseau, Sister Eva Hilmes, Step-daughters, Roslyn Washington, Lydia Washington, Stepson Eugene (Nancy) Washington. Granddaughters, Contessia, Danika, Bianca, Ashlee, Armani, Althea, Connie, Evonne, Kelli Jo, DJ, Kimberly, Erin, Grandsons, Justin, Theodore III, Malcolm, Aaron, Ryan, Michael Jr., Zachary, Sean, Cory, Kennon, and a host of great grandsons & granddaughters and nieces and nephews.

Doe Doe was preceded in death by her father Fredrick Bosseau Sr., mother Marion Carufel, husband Theodore Asa Washington I, step son, Theodore Asa Washington II, daughters Victoria Grace Washington Carlyle, Kimberly Jeanette Washington, mother in law Grace Watts, father in law John Watts, sister in laws Gracie Devault, Lora Gay Love, Nancy May Moorer, and Jeannette Ingrid Haddix.

Doe Doe received her early formal education at St. Benedict Di Moor School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was baptized at an early age. Doe Doe spent almost her entire working career helping others, with over 30 years of service at The Milwaukee County Hospital as a Nurse’s Aid. She worked throughout the complex but the majority of the time in the ER Trauma Department. She’s always loved being hands on. Her history was nothing but remarkable and so many lifelong friendships were developed. Everybody knew Doe Doe.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, 53072, on Monday, July 11, 2022, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be held at a later date.
