(Nee Smith) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at age 86. Beloved and devoted wife of 55 years to the late Alfred A. Peters. Cherished mother of Christen (Phil) Carlson, Roger (Susan), Jane Schaumann, Jeff (Sandra), and Cynthia (Thomas) Barrows. Also preceded in death by her youngest son, Scott Alan. Adored grandmother Tammy (Raymond D.) Heyer, Tony (Sarah) Zellmer, Michelle (Davar) Fazaeli, Chadwick (Kimberly) Peters, Tyler Peters, Jason (Melinda) Schaumann, Rebecca (Dennis) Bergin, Kyle Schaumann, Starlyn (Peter) Jezdimirovic, Kapri (Stephen) Borgman, Tina (Mike) Wengren, Donny (Hannah) Klein, Tony Klein, Heidi Peters, Bryan (Lisa) Neilsen, Robyn Neilsen, Charles Barrows, and Robert (Sara) Barrows. Precious great-grandmother of Zoe & Zara Zellmer, Ashland Schaumann, Madelyn, Nicholas & Amanda Bergin, Josh Peters, Aubry & Kylie Neilsen, Ava Wengren, Brady & Talan Jezdimirovic, and Phillip Borgman along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, on Saturday, November 2, 9:30-11:30 AM. Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dolores' name to Wheaton Franciscan Hospice or the American Cancer Society appreciated.
