Dolores Ann Minotte, 88, of Brookfield, passed away Wednesday afternoon February 24, 2016, at Columbia St. Mary Lawlis Family Hospice. She was born November 24, 1927, in Cadillac, Michigan to Arthur and Elsie (nee Girard) Noel.
Dolores spent her earliest years with her family between Marinette, Manitowoc, and Kewaunee, Wisconsin. Following her graduation from Kewaunee High School, the family moved to Milwaukee in the mid 1940's where she met her future husband, Anthony (Tony) Minotte Sr. Dolores and Tony were married in 1946 and had two sons, Anthony (Tony) Jr and Carl. Dolores' early career was as a telephone operator for AT&T. She later became a bookkeeper at Unit Drop Forge Co. She was known to have a mischievous twinkle in her eye and a sly, quick wit. She enjoyed watching the birds from her window, reminiscing over pictures of her family, baseball, and the latest fashions — especially if they were in her favorite color, purple.
Dolores is survived by her sister Joan (Robert) Clarke, her brother & sister-in-law Richard and Sandra Noel; sister-in-law Betty (Earl Noel) Trongo, granddaughter Maria (Gregg) (nee Minotte) Rudisell, great grandchildren Dominic, Annabella, and Marcus Rudisell; and the children of Anthony Minotte Jr. Many, many nieces and nephews will miss her love, laugh, and wonderful smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Sr.; her sons Anthony Jr.,and Carl; and her brothers Irving (Josephine), Earl, Arthur (Betty), Raymond (Betty), and Donald (Charmis).
