Desthy Mae Sisk was born on March 16, 1945, to the union of Calvin and Celia-MC Winters, in Kosciusko, MS.

Desthy accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was united in holy matrimony with Earnest Sisk on August 7, 1972. Their union was blessed with 7 children. She was employed at Ambrosia Chocolate, Howell Potato Chips, and Bee Bus Line School Bus Company. In her leisure, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, shopping, cooking and eating, quilting, singing and spending time with her family. Talk about “Jack of all Trades”!

Desthy Mae Sisk entered God’s loving arms, Monday, January 30, 2017, at age 71. She is preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Celia Winters; daughter, Shirley; seven brothers, RC, David, Arlee, Robert, Freddie, Rance, and Sammie; three sisters, Annie Bell, Edith, and Nola.

Further survived by her dear children, Willie C., Dorothy (Andy), Charles (LaDonna), Aretha, Eric, Melvin (Marian), and Chery; her loving 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; her beloved siblings, Pearl, Effie, Walter, Yvonne and LaVonne; and her life-long friend Earnest Sisk. She will be greatly missed by a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM.
