David P. Walsh

Born on August 27, 1934. Born to Eternal Life on October 8, 2021. David is survived by his wife of 65 years, Grace Walsh, and his brother Edward Walsh. Beloved father to Jan Walsh, Kristi Walsh (Jim Mannes) and Linda Walsh (Travis Broughton) and devoted grandfather to Dina Kmett, Nikolai Mannes and Julien Broughton.

David was a veteran of army service. He was loyally cared for by the Zablocki VA in Milwaukee and passed away from pneumonia and complications of diabetes. His career was in drafting, and commercial restaurant sales and installation. David was a card shark with uncanny luck, unapologetically frustrating even his most ardent opponents. Fishing, and hunting deer and turkey with the men in his extended family was also his passion, allowing him an occasional reprieve from the household of women he adored. He was also an avid golfer. David was a devout Catholic and 12 step member; his spirituality was the north star of his life.

His family and friends will miss David’s humor and relentless mischievousness. Heaven has gained a generous and loving soul.
