David Alan Petersen

David Alan Petersen, age 65, passed away January 15, 2024 at Silverado North Shore Memory Care Center in Glendale, Wisconsin.

Dave was born September 4, 1958 to the late John P. Petersen and Mary L. Petersen in Durand, Wisconsin. He graduated from Durand High School in 1976. Dave attended UW-Platteville and was a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity. He attended Chippewa Valley Technical College earning an Associate Degree in Computer Science. Dave worked in information systems security for many corporations in the Twin Cities area. Dave moved to Deming, New Mexico where he continued his online computer services and other various occupations until returning back to Wisconsin. His wit and humor will be greatly missed, especially by his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his brothers, Brian (Julie) Eau Claire, WI; Jeffrey, New Richmond, Wisconsin; Paul, Kenosha, Wisconsin; James (Kimberly), Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Joel, Wind Lake, Wisconsin; nieces Jennifer (Andrew) Twist, Jocelyn Kalal, Emily Petersen; nephews Brandon (Jill), Phillip (Kelsey), Mitchell, and Eric Petersen, also survived by former sister-in-law, Lori Petersen. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Petersen.

A burial service and interment will occur at a later date at Christ Lutheran Halvorson Cemetery in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
