Darlene M. Krause

Darlene M. Krause was suddenly called to her Heavenly Home on April 22, 2021, at the age of 77. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Paul (Ann) Krause, and her beloved grandchildren Elizabeth and Nicholas. She will be dearly missed by her brother, Bryant (Yolette) Carter, her friend Ralph Dancker, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Krause.

Darlene enjoyed talking with people, whether it was people she knew or those she just met. She loved getting to know people. She loved a good card game, attending fairs and festivals, and also to learn new things. She was always reading and researching about new subjects, history, or just whatever caught her fancy. Darlene shared her talent for crocheting by making countless afghans and crocheted items for family and friends, along with the patients at the nursing home where she worked for over 25 years. Darlene and her husband Glenn enjoyed taking road trips not only around Wisconsin, but other parts of the country. She savored her trips to Wisconsin Dells for relaxing weekends and she was particularly fond of traveling to Door County for yearly camping trips.

A time of visitation will be held for Darlene on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Darlene will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Park in a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital given in Darlene’s name would be appreciated by the family.
