You taught me so much and you were always at my side and in my heart when things got tough. I never doubted your love. It's funny - - I was just thinking yesterday. . . I only took the Sergeants promotional exam once. I passed but not high enough to be promoted before the list ran out. Yesterday I started thinking . . . I could have never filled your shoes so why keep trying. You were my role model and someone that I hope I made proud - - because I know that there is no son out there that could ever be as proud of their father as I am of you! I love you Dad!
