Corinne L. Christensen, “Krin”

(Née Karmgard) Passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 5, 2014, age 87. Wife of the late Alexander. Proud mother of Karen (James) Renshaw, Kurt (Sue) Christensen and Kay (Steve) Christensen-Schramm. Loving grandma of Ann Christensen, Sara (Troy) Hicks and Andrew (Samantha) Renshaw. Special friend of Art Piotrowski. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, Saturday, March 22, 10:00-11:45 AM. Memorial Service 12:00 PM. Reception to follow. Private entombment at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.

Corinne retired as a teacher's aide from the Milwaukee Public School System after 37 years of service. She volunteered for more than 1,500 hours at the Milwaukee County Zoo, was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, West Allis and Chi Sigma Chi Sorority at Marquette University. She served as Chaplain at H.A. Todd Post #537 American Legion Auxiliary.
