(Nee Willkom) Passed away peacefully on September 24, 2013. Age 88. Beloved wife of William Schmitz. Dear mother of Dale, and preceded in death by son Michael and daughter Kathy (Kraig) Rodenbeck. Cherished grandmother of Joe (Lisa) and Corey Schmitz, Taryn (J.D.) Duncan, and Brandon Rodenbeck. Adoring great-grandmother of Lincoln and Bennet Schmitz and Kyler Duncan. Further survived by siblings Donna Burish and Jerry Willkom, nieces and nephews, and friends. Colleen graduated from St. Joseph Nursing School in Marshfield in August, 1946. She and husband William were married in October, 1946. Shortly after, they moved to Milwaukee. Colleen was very active at Mother of Good Counsel in many organizations there. She was an avid bridge player. In 1976, they moved to Brookfield, where they have resided since. Colleen and Bill loved to travel, spending many winters in Arizona.

Visitation at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1755 North Calhoun Road, on Friday, September 27, at 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
