Of Chesapeake, VA died on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the age of 43. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, he was the son of Linda Van Duyn Rivera of Coinjock, NC and the late August Cesar Cajipe Rivera. Beloved father of Alexander Joseph Rivera and David Garrett Rivera of Knotts Island, NC.
Visitation at the Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, on Saturday, June 6, 2015 9:30-11:30AM. Funeral Service at 11:30AM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. A Celebration of Christopher's life was held in North Carolina. Memorials appreciated to Alexander and David's education fund: Gateway Bank, PO Box 1908, Elizabeth City, NC 27906-1908.
Christopher was a fireman with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Fire Department and a member of Knotts Island Baptist Church.
