(Dillard) CPA, MBA, CHFP, FHFMA. Age 52, of New Berlin, Wisconsin, passed away on April 3, 2010, after a year and half courageous battle with brain cancer. Chris was born on June 7, 1957, in Milwaukee, to late Shirley (Koracin) Dillard and late Paul Dillard. Chris is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Jay; beautiful and cherished daughter Nicole, and special needs and loving son Jacob. Further survived by her mother since 1970 and good friend Helen Dillard; sisters and brothers Laura Dusold, Michael (Linda) Sader, Carol Dillard, Pam (Dan) Quicker, Dennis Dillard, Debby (Tony) Fluder, Don (Kelly) Dillard and Jean (John) Walkowiak; father and mother-in-law Lowell (Marcy) Ergen; in-laws Debbie (Don) Moga, Chuck Ergen, Greg (Helen) Ergen and Cheri Bergstrom; and many nephews, nieces and good friends. Preceded in death by her mother Shirley (Koracin) Dillard, father Paul Dillard, and mother in-law Helen (Terres) Ergen. Chris was a great role model for our daughter Nicole, which seems to be following in her mother's footsteps. Chris protected and guided our Special Needs son Jacob to be the best person he could be. Chris lived life to the fullest and nothing seemed out of reach for her. She graduated with an accounting degree in 1979, became a CPA and received her MBA in 1994. During her career Chris held many position from Controller to CFO of a number of companies. She was proud to serve as a board member for ARCH Waukesha and on the board for HFMA. Chris was a ski instructor for SEWASP, helping disabled people enjoy skiing. Chris loved playing sports and she was proud of the fact that she took flying lesson at West Bend airport, and became a private Pilot. Visitation on Thursday, April 8, 2010, starting at 4:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM. Private burial at Highland Memorial Park on Saturday. Memorials will be distributed to the charities Chris was involved with.
