Passed on peacefully to our Lord at home on February 25, 2009. Lottie Blahnik born December 8, 1915 in Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. Her family relocated to a farm in Spruce, Oconto County, Wisconsin, where she grew up. Graduated from Oconto Falls High School in 1933 and moved to Milwaukee in 1935. She met her future husband Arnold Leo Olson at the Eagles Club Ballroom in 1938. She married Arnie after he returned from Army service in India on June 16, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They settled in West Allis, Wisconsin where they lived most of their lives. Survived by best friend and husband, Arnold; sons Philip ((Julie Roznowski) and Gregory (Susan Down); grandsons Eric and Matthew; sister Elizabeth "Betty" and Chuck McNabb; and sister-in-law Lucille Blahnik; nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Wencel and Alvina (nee Cigler) Blahnik; brothers Edward (Mabel) Blahnik and Milton Blahnik. Longtime member of St. Matthias Parish (since 1955). Former employee of Allis Chalmers and Tri-Angle Drugs Pharmacy. She will be dearly missed.
