Began his journey Home Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the age of 82. Beloved father of Robert (Margaret), Patti Johnson and Peggy (Mark) Glander. Proud grandpa of Lindsey Johnson, Becky (Brian) Jansen, Nicholas Glander, Sean Franzen, Scott Britz, Emily (Max) Szolwinski and Mike Britz, Jr. Great-grandpa of Trinity, Aaron and Kyle Franzen. Also loved by Peggy R. Glander, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday, October 1, 4-8PM. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home Friday, October 2, 10AM. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park.Charlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a retiree of Allis Chalmers, and owner of Brookfield Welding.
