Carolyn Turman was born on September 29,1941 to the union of the late Fonzie and Mabel Wilson in Harperville, Mississippi. Carolyn accepted Christ at an early age, she was baptized and joined Little Rock Church in Harperville.
Carolyn graduated from Midway High School in Harperville. Carolyn married Charles William Turman on March 15th, 1960. From their union, three children were born, Sandra, Cynthia, and Charles. Carolyn and Charles relocated to Alabama, Atlanta and eventually to Milwaukee in 1964. Carolyn worked at Wm. K. Walters Inc. (they specialize in model trains and accessories) as a sales account representative for 28 years until she retired.
Carolyn’s favorite past times were watching her favorite sports, basketball, baseball, and football. She learned the game of tennis when Venus and Serena started playing and golf when Tiger Woods began to play. She enjoyed game shows, crossword puzzles, word searches, playing cards and other boardgames. When she had the opportunity, she would play the slot machines.
God called Carolyn home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Turman; her parents Fonzie and Mable Wilson; her siblings Mae Bell Funches, Robert Wilson, Lucille Walker and Roy Wilson.
Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters and one son; Sandra (Bennie) Bounds, Cynthia Leonard, Charles (Tracy) Turman; two sisters; Thelma Odom and Lois Young; three granddaughters; Tiffany (Scott) Latter, Chriniesha and Jasmine Turman; five great grandchildren; Charles, Benjamin, Cecelia and Ryan Latter (lovingly called Charlie, Ben, MeMe and Ryan by their great grandma) and Kyree Mosby. She also, leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Carolyn Turman died peacefully October 27, 2021. Visitation will be held November 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service at Krause Funeral Home 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Brown Deer, Wisconisn.
