Carol Ann Cage

(Nee Dettman) Of West Allis, passed away on Saturday June 18, 2016, after a long battle with autoimmune disease. Carol was born to Norbert and Marie (nee Plapper) Dettman in Milwaukee on August 7, 1944. She was confirmed on March 30, 1958. She graduated from Riverside High School. She married James Cage on August 31, 1968 at Berea Lutheran Church. Prior to the birth of her children she worked at Johnson Controls and Schlitz Brewery. She returned to the workforce in the Math Department of Nicolet High School and then in multiple roles with the Whitefish Bay School District. Prior to her illness, she enjoyed cooking and crafting. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her step-brother Curtis Meschke. She is survived by her husband; sons Todd (Beth) Cage of St. Charles, MN and Brad (Sara) Cage of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren Parker, Abigail, Emma, Hannah and Lydia Cage; brother James (Mirjana) Dettman of Wauwatosa; sister Cindi (Gary) Beyer of Orange, CA; sister-in-law Christine Meschke; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 13445 West Hampton Avenue, on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM until time of Service at 3:00 PM.
